Catch up on all our latest Training News & thoughts – You never know you might just learn something! This site has just gone live on 10th Feb so keep your eye out for our weekly articles starting soon. In the meantime don’t be starved of meaningful information – check out DJ’s Facebook Page for latest information and interesting links & articles that we stumble accross on a regular basis (often at 2am ….).
Other blogs and useful sources of information that we regularly check out include:
Nerd Fitness: A witty blog using helpful nerd logic and pop culture references to make it’s point – that sometimes less is more! Nerd Fitness advocates heavy lifting (even for girls!), Paleo style nutrition and moving your body the way it was intended.
Marks Daily Apple: Mark Sisson posts some thought provoking and well researched articles on a very regular basis. Mark is a big advocate of the Paleo style of nutrition and has built his own ‘recipe’ for good health entitled the “Primal Blueprint”. Mark is currently updating his site so we’ve gotten a couple of errors lately but if this happens be sure to check back in – it’s worth it.
Tim Ferris 4 Hour Work Week Blog: Love him or hate him Tim Ferris is the ultimate in efficiency experimentation. Not just about work, not just about fitness you will find regular articles from all walks of life. Tim published a great book last year dedicated to fitness entitled THE 4 HOUR BODY which is kinda like an encyclopedia of tips to get your body running like the ultimate machine. Now just a word of warning - it’s a big book and a fairly dry read. Use it like you would use an encylopedia or good toilet book (you know what we mean….) where you can just pick it up and look up the things that interest you. On the positive – we have yet to find anything in this big book that we disagree with! And we have picked up tons of useful tit-bits, stretches & recipes which really do what they say they will.
Les Mills International: There is sooo much stuff on this site it’s incredible. So if you *love* your Les Mills program and wanna know more about it check this out. There are also heaps of forums where you can get hints on whats coming up as well as sections on nutrtion, tips on form & technique etc etc etc Or maybe you’re thinking about trying a class? Stop by here first so you know whats coming.
