I’ve never done this before, but it seems that if you want to get noticed on social media you’ve got to bare (almost) all.

My name is Darren Mozes. I’m not a celebrity. I’m a Personal Trainer and Gym owner.

The caricature in the photo was on my first business card back in 1990. It was a world without social media. I had a mobile PT business that had me travelling to train clients in their homes, parks and/or gyms.

30 years later, and here we are. Almost back to the beginning. So instead of packing the van with equipment and dropping over for a training session, we now do it through the ipad.
Isolation has changed our routines and behaviour. If you’ve been neglecting your health & fitness we can help you get back on track… we can also use this time to improve it.

If you want to train with me, here’s some random stuff you need to know and understand: 

There’s a difference between following a random celebrity app versus training with an experienced coach. I don’t use a ‘one size fits all’ template. All training sessions are planned in advance and tailored to how you move, your ability level, and your goals.

An app won’t give you 253 direct and instant coaching cues and technique corrections throughout your workout. I will. I will be watching you. We can see each other. You can’t hide.

You will get homework and I will check up on you.

Apps are deliberately designed to be full of random acts of variety. They aim to entertain you and make you a little sore from made up exercises that leave you feeling tired, but not stronger. I’ve seen stuff out there that made my eyes bleed. 

I will not provide excessive and irrational training. You will know WHY we do stuff.

The best training programs are simple. Personally, I usually play with the one 40kg Kettlebell. My routine consists of Swings, Get Ups, Goblet Squats and Push ups. The reps are low, the rest periods generous. I’m done in under 20 min and I rarely train more than twice per week. After 55 birthdays, I’m fitter and stronger than ever, and couldn’t be happier. 

More is not better. More is just more. If you are guided correctly, results come easy. 

How do we start?

Firstly, put together a list of equipment that you can get your hands on… for regular and ongoing clients, I may be able to loan what I have… first in, best dressed.

Secondly, it starts with a phone call. I know it’s a bit old school but contact me on the number above and let’s talk.
